Back from Spring Break and Ready for the Semester

Spring break is always a welcome pause from classes, but now it’s time to get back into the swing of things. After a week away, I’m refocusing on assignments, catching up on readings and preparing for the weeks ahead. It feels good to reset and start fresh, especially with some exciting plans coming up.

On Monday, I met with my advisor to start planning my final year. Thinking about senior year is exciting and a little nerve-wracking. During the meeting, we went over courses, planned my schedule and made sure I’m on track to graduate. Having a clear plan now makes everything feel more manageable and helps me set goals for a strong finish. It was also a good chance to discuss opportunities, capstone projects or other experiences that could shape my last year.

On top of academics, I’m preparing for our next Student Planning Committee event: laser tag, which will take place in early April. There’s a lot to coordinate, from setting up sign-ups to making sure equipment and schedules are ready. It’s a lot of work, but seeing everyone have fun makes it worth it. Events like these are a great way to take a break from schoolwork and connect with friends. I’m looking forward to helping the event run smoothly and enjoying the energy of everyone participating.

Getting back into the routine after spring break isn’t always easy. It takes effort to adjust from relaxing days to the demands of classes, meetings and event planning. But having a plan helps. Staying organized keeps stress manageable and makes the semester feel more achievable.

Overall, I’m excited for what the next few weeks will bring. Meeting with my advisor and preparing for the laser tag event give me direction and fun things to look forward to. Balancing academics with student activities can be challenging, but it also makes the semester more rewarding. After a refreshing spring break, I feel ready to dive back in, tackle my responsibilities and make the most of the rest of the semester.
